This is pretty cool!

Looking forward to the arrival of my unit in a couple of days. Windows Phone seems to be surpassing Android, shouldn’t be long now until its in the solid #2 spot

So I go over to the AT&T store in the office today given that it is the same day as the Win 7.5 Mango release and the place is just crazy!! I made my way through the endless horde of geeks (no pun intended) all the way to the AT&T store.

I go to enter the store only to be stopped by on the AT&T reps, Sorry sir you cant some in, the line starts back there for entry… Of course the line is 20+ deep & they are only dealing with 3-4 customers at a time. Well there goes Lunch!!

I stand patiently & inch up towards the front ever so slowly & finally I am only have 2 people remaining in front of me now Yeah!

Next thing wouldn’t you know it… the Samsung rep comes over to start talking to us & states “Sorry folks we are all out of the Focus S units” but we can have it shipped to your house. Well shit… if I wanted it sent to my house I wouldn’t have come here now would i?

Given that I had now waited almost an hour for entry it seemed silly to just give up, so I stuck it out & finally made it into the store. Ordered the phone etc.… but I asked the sales guy, so how many units did you guys sell this morning? he said about 40 or so, mmm so I asked – how many of the Focus S units were you guys given to sell (now keep in mind, 1 this is the Microsoft campus with 45K employees 2. this is a Windows phone on LAUNCH day) oh the gave us like 30 of them? WOW

Makes you wonder! However, the phone is ordered… looking forward to getting it now, it’s a really slick phone & super light.

Well two weeks in Seattle & my wonderful wife has a new house acquired already!

Move in tomorrow, cant wait to get settled once again… the corporate house is a little tight with 3 kids trying to run around

Hello World!

As you can see I am just beginning to get myself sorted with my new blog etc.

I just accepted a new position with MSFT in Redmond, WA & as a result i hope to have a bit more time to put together documentation etc. and iw ill put it up here in due course.

Time has being sucked away from me for a long time now in my current/expiring job so really looking forward to the fresh start in the coming weeks.
